She is the Managing Partner and the “K” in KXT Law, and she is focused on complex IP and commercial litigation and strategy for cutting-edge technology companies. She was previously the founding and Managing Partner of Duane Morris LLP’s Silicon Valley office and served on the firm’s governing Partners Board.

Karineh has been recognized as a Super Lawyer in Northern California for two consecutive years, reflecting her outstanding professional achievements and peer recognition in intellectual property and commercial litigation. Her clients range from early-stage innovators to major players in the semiconductor, IT, social media, network communications and gaming industries. With a deep bench of experience and an expansive professional network, she is known for solving her clients’ most pressing IP contract and commerical challenges.

Karineh’s domestic and international experience includes utility and design patent litigation, trade secret misappropriation (particularly with competitors and former employees), IP licensing and contract disputes, trademark and copyright infringement, and inter partes reviews at the USPTO. She has successfully invalidated patents under Alice Corp. v. CLS Bank International and has secured and defended preliminary injunctions in the U.S. and Germany. Her litigation work spans state and federal courts nationwide—including California, Texas, Utah, and Delaware—as well as the Federal Circuit and the Sixth District Court of Appeal in California. She is also an RPX Panel Counsel member.

Beyond her legal practice, Karineh is deeply committed to advancing women in law and technology.
